When designing my Modern Barndomium kitchen there were some things I was not willing to skimp on! My vision was to create a kitchen that looked like it had been there for many years and I just came in and renovated it. Leaving the most beautiful aspects there so there was a mix of old and new. This is sometimes hard becuase you have to design it new from scratch to look like some of the design is actualy old when it's not. This was a challange I was ready to take on before starting this project! I have never designed anothing or built anything from scratch before besides my offices and salon in Spartanburg SC, but this was way different! Adding the element of rock and old local wooden beams really helped to make this project look exactly as it did in my mind!
